Mantle

Mantle is a flexible workspace provider with a work-local focus, running well-designed offices across Cambridge, Essex, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire. Its sites range from central Cambridge floors and Cambridge Science Park to historic and parkland buildings, all with 24/7 access, enhanced cleaning, wellbeing spaces and business services on flexible terms.

Nine locations carry that work-local argument. Cambridge holds three, at 95 Regent Street in the centre, Nine Hills Road near the station and The Bradfield Centre on Cambridge Science Park, which supports the company's claim to be the largest flexible workspace operator in the city. The others run to Elizabeth House in Chelmsford, Kings Court in Stevenage, One Station Approach in Harlow, which opened in September 2026, Thremhall Park near Stansted, The Officers' Mess at Duxford and The Lambourn in Abingdon, where lab space runs alongside the offices. Private offices take one to fifty people and above, with coworking, virtual offices and meeting rooms for up to twenty-four.

Two of the buildings are Grade II listed and neither is a conventional office. The Officers' Mess occupies former officers' quarters on Duxford Airfield, a minute from junction 10 of the M11, with a central hub holding coworking, a café and three meeting rooms. Thremhall Park is a neo-Georgian building in twelve acres of historic parkland with a walled garden used for events and a coffee shop open seven days. Mantle is a FlexSA member and was named one of the UK's best workplaces in construction, engineering and property by Great Place To Work for a second year running in 2026. It publishes its social numbers rather than describing them: 280 businesses helped, 12,833 volunteering hours, 78 networking events and 92 per cent renewable electricity across the estate.
